As-They-Go
Sort of a strange title but it really is the essence of this category. All of these tools are remarkable because you can use them over the long haul with your students. They start with brainstorming or early development of a big idea, they struggle through their ideas, students use them all collaboratively with their peers, AND you are able to follow along with everything from start to finish.
Google Docs
- Google Drive website and Google Docs App
- If your school has Google Apps for Education, Google Docs on the iPad is extremely useful.
- Monitor progress for each of your students in their own files they have shared with you.
- Check the revision history to investigate when revisions have been made.
- Insert comments or suggestions for students as they develop their work.
